Thank you Derek for all your patience

When travelling for a day trip to Loch Tay (which is over 2 hours away) my car started making a really loud noise. I ended up calling RAC because I was sure my engine was in tatters, and they sent out Derek from Blair Atholl Garage. He was originally meant to just tow my car to the nearby garage and arrange a lift for me and my friend's home, but he asked what sound it was making and when I turned my engine on he explained the issue was with the exhaust, not my engine.

Turns out my exhaust was hanging off. He yanked it off, so it wouldn't cause an accident but instructed me that I'd be safe to drive back home. He could see I was nervous, so offered to drive in front of me for a while then pull over and check-in. Which he did, bless him, he was also super patient waiting for my friends and I to be ready to leave.

After travelling for a bit, sounding like a bad boy racer, I accepted that he was right, it was safe and managed to drive all the way back home without any issues. I got the car fixed 2 days later at a local garage, so a massive thank you Derek for all your patience, help and support! Would highly recommend these guys!
